Create Your Vision, Mission, & Values
Build a vision, mission, and values your team actually runs on, not a poster on the wall.
Build a vision, mission, and values your team actually runs on, not a poster on the wall.
Create Your Vision, Mission, & Values builds the core of your organization's identity: a clear articulation of who you are, why you exist, and how you lead together. With it defined, your team shares one reference point for the decisions, priorities, and behaviors that move the business forward.

Do I go through this on my own, or with my team?
Both, in sequence, and you are the one who runs it. You start on your own: getting grounded in why this matters now, learning what makes vision, mission, and values strong, and drafting your own first versions before anyone else is in the room. Then you facilitate. Two sessions with your leadership team to craft the language together, one session with your whole team followed by a feedback window, and then the work of building what you landed on into how your organization already operates. Your coaching companion is with you through all of it.
Do I have to figure out how to run the sessions?
No. Every session comes with a downloadable agenda you fill in, carrying its own prep checklist, facilitator notes, and timings for each part of the meeting. You are equipped with everything you need to walk in and run it: you pick the dates, prepare yourself, and work the agenda.
What will we have when we finish?
A cohesive, usable set of Vision, Mission, and Values statements that reflect who your organization is, why it exists, and how you lead together, already in use rather than waiting on a rollout plan. It is built to be lived, not written on a wall. Your coaching companion captures the work as you go to a Google Doc in your Drive, and publishes the finished statements to Notion at the end so they stay somewhere your team can actually find and use.
What does the kit actually teach?
How Vision, Mission, and Values fit together through a simple Purpose, Strategy, and Behavior lens: Vision as your destination, Mission as your path, Values as your compass. You will learn what makes each one strong, what a value is and is not, and what keeps all three alive once they exist. The teaching stays on the substance; the how of running each session lives in the agendas the kit gives you.
How long does it take?
About 12.5 hours end to end, and nothing in it asks more than 90 minutes of you at a time. Roughly an hour to get grounded and learn, an hour on your own drafts, 90 minutes to plan the three waves, about 8 hours to run them with roughly half of that in sessions with other people, and an hour to debrief at the end. It is self-paced, so you set the calendar.
Do I need anything in place before I start?
No. This is a foundational kit and it stands on its own, so you can begin with nothing but your own knowledge of your organization. If you already have related pieces in place they will make the work richer, but nothing is required to start.
What if we already have a vision, mission, and values?
This kit works either way. If you already have them, you will put them under an honest light, test whether they are still true and actually used, and refine them. If you are starting from scratch, you will build them from the ground up. Either path lands in the same place: statements your team believes and uses.
What is the difference between vision, mission, and values?
Vision is why you exist and where you are headed. Mission is how you get there, the strategy that brings the vision to life. Values are the principles and behaviors that guide how you act along the way. This kit helps you define all three so they connect and reinforce each other instead of sitting as disconnected statements.
